Meet The Doctor
A. J. PETERS, M.D.
Anti-Aging Specialist
Dr. Peters and her professional staff are uniquely focused to assist patients in a partnership to looking, feeling and living longer and better by delaying, preventing and reversing the signs and symptoms of aging.
Dr. Peters received the most prestigious cosmopolitan education around the world. A graduate with a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), she completed her medical internships and fellowships at Cornell Medical Center, New York, Harvard School of Public Health and Ospadali Galleria in Genoa, Italy. She is a past scholar of Leopold Schlep Foundation, and the Organization of American States (OAS), New York.
Her medical affiliations include American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, European Academy of Quality of Life and Longevity Medicine and the International Hormone Society. Board Certified with the American Academy of Family Physicians, she is a diplomat with the American Board of Family Practice and an award recognized physician from Harvard School of Public Health.
A former proud major of United States Air Force, she served as a Flight Surgeon with the U2 Reconnaissance Squadron in California and around the world. Among her medals earned was the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for her heroic and outstanding service.
Her passion for leading edge medicine has expanded beyond her aerospace medicine career to helping patients who like herself realize the value of a proactive lifestyle
An advocate for human causes she has volunteered with Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders) and served on the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Sydney, Australia.
Born on the English speaking island of Tobago, her education and activities has taken her to Canada, Europe and the United States. She currently resides in the Sacramento area where she practices anti-aging medicine. One of her pastimes include painting and her works have been shown and sold in New York City and elsewhere. Her passion for the arts is clearly reflected in her dedication to the emerging field of anti-aging medicine.
